Paintings of New York City

Painting Cityscapes
The changing vistas of busy cities offer many opportunities to capture a colorful moment of human activity, especially when you compare the beauty and order of human structures to the complexity and power of the natural world.  We may think we are in control as we admire our creations and become absorbed in our own concerns, but nature is always waiting to surprise us.
